In the early 1970s comedian John Clarke invented the character Fred Dagg to satirise the stereotype of the New Zealand farmer. Fred Dagg always dressed in a black woollen singlet, gumboots and floppy hat. Here the 1975 Lincoln College student executive are decked out in Fred Dagg regalia.
