Milking East Friesian ewes

Milking East Friesian ewes

Having more lambs will be profitable only if they grow quickly. For this to happen, the ewes rearing them must produce a lot of milk. East Friesians are renowned for their milk production and were imported to improve the milking ability of New Zealand’s traditional breeds. These East Friesians are kept for their milk, not their meat.
