Participants in the first WEA (Workers’ Educational Association) summer school at Feilding in 1938 listen to a lecture from Winston Rhodes. In the 1920s and 1930s further education became popular in rural areas, and an adult education centre was set up at Feilding Agricultural High School in 1938.
