Black passionfruit orchard, Bay of Plenty

Black passionfruit vines are tender subtropical climbers that need protection from frost and wind. These export-grade passionfruit are growing on an A-frame trellis support under frost cloth on the Alblas orchard in Katikati, Bay of Plenty.
