‘The Sentinels’

‘The Sentinels’

This sculpture, ‘The Sentinels’, is by the artist Selwyn Muru. Carved in Mt Somers stone, it is a salute to the local tribe, Ngāti Whātua. It stands in the foyer of the Auckland Regional Council Building, alongside other artworks representing Auckland’s physical and cultural environment.
