Fertiliser loader and topdressing aircraft

Aerial topdressing (the application of fertiliser by aircraft) was pioneered in New Zealand. Fertiliser is delivered in bulk to a bin beside a landing strip on the farm. A front-end loader takes fertiliser from the bin to the hopper of the aircraft in just a few seconds.
