Bulldozing rabbit warrens

One way of destroying rabbits was to bulldoze their warrens. The entrances to the burrows can be seen in the foreground. Bulldozing was only of temporary use, at best – the remaining rabbits soon colonised new areas, and in time returned to their old sites.
