Hello, I have been accessing images of NZ leaf vein slugs as I prepare for an art exhibition titled "Conservation" and realise that the slugs I often find on my patio tiles on damp nights do not seem to have been mentioned. I live in Riverton, Southland and often find slugs similar to the photograph of Athoracophorous giantea but more the shape of bitentaculatus. While I have only seen them in the dark, they seem to be much darker in colour and more opaque than any of the photographs but that could be misleading I know.Do you know of reports of leaf veined slugs in Southland?
