The Dame Ella Campbell Herbarium at Massey University is one of a number of botanical reference collections in New Zealand. It holds all types of plants, including naturalised plants and weeds, but specialises in the lower plants, especially lichens, mosses and liverworts. These were collected for more than 50 years by botanist Ella Campbell.
