Bulmer Cavern rescue

Bulmer Cavern rescue

Ropes are rigged up to assist in the rescue of caver Kieran McKay from Bulmer Cavern on Mt Owen, in 1998. He broke his jaw after a fall, deep within the cave. About 80 cavers joined the effort. Luckily the cave system has few tight squeezes.
