Kōrero: Butterflies and moths

Kitsch butterflies such as these at Waitarere Beach, south of Foxton, are reasonably common in rural areas. In the New Zealand context it would be more appropriate if these adornments were moths – there are about 20 times as many native moth species as there are butterflies.
