Plant nursery, Tiritiri Matangi, 1988

Since the 1980s revegetation projects have sprung up all over New Zealand, and many people grow natives in community nurseries near their revegetation sites. This nursery on Tiritiri Matangi Island, North Auckland, is run by volunteers and raises all the planting stock for revegetating the island.
