The 1,000th Colombo Plan student

Fidel Madlansacay, the 1,000th student to come to New Zealand under the technical assistance programme of the Colombo Plan, exchanges gifts with New Zealand Prime Minister Keith Holyoake in 1962. Fidel was headed for Massey Agricultural College to study pastoral and dairy management.
