Jeweller Areta Wilkinson's 'Wahine kino' series comprised miniature metal silhouettes of her own body encased in glass bell jars. They critiqued the display of indigenous cultures in museums and galleries. These two pieces are 'Tena koe/hei konei ra' (2005) and 'Poi girl II' (2006). Both figures are brooches that can be removed from the bell jars and worn.
