<em>Rip It Up</em> cover

Rip It Upbegan in 1977 as a giveaway magazine. Its early development coinicided with the flowering of New Zealand's alternative music scene in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Rip It Upwas one of the first New Zealand magazines devoted to serious reviews of local rock music in both live and recorded forms. This cover is from a 2013 issue. Rip It Upceased publishing in 2015.

i used to play in pub bands i nz during the 70,s and always enjoyed and looked forward to getting my hands on a copy of rip it up
