Haurongo: Horomona, Maata

Ko Maata Horomona

Maata Horomona, as a young woman, stands in the window of a raupō wharenui (meeting house), inside an ornately carved window frame. She wears a kākahu (feather cloak). She holds a patu (club) and a tewhatewha (long handled wooden weapon) leans against the window frame.
