Funding films

The difficulties of getting investors and banks to help fund New Zealand films is outlined in this television news item from 1997. The New Zealand Film Commission's Screen Production Incentive Fund, introduced in 2008, aimed both to give local film-making some financial security and to encourage private sector investment in the industry.
