Whakarongo mai ki te waiata rongonui, ki ‘Pinepine te kura’ nō Ngāti Kahungunu. Ko te kapa haka o Tamatea Arikinui e waiata ana. Ko te oriori, he titonga mō te tamaiti rangatira  (he wā kāore anō kia whānau mai). Hei te oriori ngā hononga whakapapa o te tamaiti, ki ōna kōrero tuku iho, ki ōna pūrākau me ōna atua kaitiaki. I titoa a Pinepine te kura mā Te Umurangi, arā, ‘te kura’ o Te Whatuiāpiti, he rangatira toa nō Ngāti Kahungunu. I te tau 1888 ka hanga ruatia e te poropiti e Te Kooti te waiata a Pinepine te kura, ā, ka rawekehia ngā kupu kia kōrerotia te whai a ētahi o Ngāti Kahungunu (me ētahi atu iwi) i a ia. E whakaatu ana te whakaahua i te wharenui o Te Whatuiāpiti ki te marae o Rākautātahi ki Takapau.

kia Ora. I have a waiata i need to do some reasearch on but everywhere i go on the internet sends me to links and gives me no answers. Haere mai mama, Haere mai Papa haere mai, haere mai ra ki te kohanga, ki te kohanga, ki te kohanga reo Me nga awhiawhi, me nga awhiawhi, me nga awhiawhi e Haere mai kui, haere mai koro ki te kohanga reo haere mai hine, haere mai tama haere mai, haere mai ra. i need to find out who wrote this waiata, when it was composed and what type of waiata this is... i would also love to learn this waiata for our kohanga tamariki
