These stills are from a film Leon Narbey made of his 1970 installation, 'Real time', which was the opening exhibition at New Plymouth's Govett-Brewster Art Gallery. The interactive work was dependent on the movement of people through various levels of the gallery, which triggered lights and sounds that were transmitted through the spaces. 'Real time' challenged the strict divisions between art, technology and play.
