Under the Southern Cross, 1927

In 1925 cameraman Ted Coubray collaborated with visiting Danish director Gustav Pauli. They made two films together, Under the Southern Cross and The romance of Hine-moa (both 1927). Under the Southern Cross is the love story of young English migrant David Byne and Hazel Carlisle, who manages a Hawke's Bay sheep farm with her brother.
