Kōrero: Art galleries and collections

Public art galleries, 2015

As this map shows, New Zealand was numerically well served by public art galleries in 2015. Public art galleries are non-profit and exhibiting-only institutions – art sales are the province of private dealer galleries. In addition to these galleries, the Real Art Roadshow is a mobile gallery that exhibits New Zealand art to schools around the country.
