Off the edge

The 1977 documentary Off the edge was among the first encounters the general public had with extreme sports. It was filmed by New Zealander Mike Firth and features Canadian Blair Trenholme and American Jeff Campbell skiing down and hang-gliding over the Tasman Glacier. This film promotion provides a thrilling sense of their exploits.
