Knitting patterns

Cardigans, pullovers and hats are classic knitted items that have never fallen entirely out of favour, and countless patterns for these garments have been bought by New Zealand knitters. These patterns were probably published in the 1950s and 1960s, although the black and white bed jacket pattern may date from the 1940s. Fontana and Paragon were two leading New Zealand knitting pattern publishers.
