Ladi6, 'Walk right up'

Ladi6 (Karoline Tamati) was New Zealand's leading female hip-hop singer in the 2010s. Her Polynesian and soul style, rich voice and attractive looks made her successful in both New Zealand and Europe. Ladi6 has worked with other New Zealand groups that express a strong Pasifika and Māori influence, such as Fat Freddy's Drop, TrinityRoots and Scribe. Watch Oscar Kightley's slick video production of her song, 'Walk right up'.
