Black-eyed geckos (Hoplodactylus kahutarae) are found on alpine bluffs in the Kaikōura Range and on Mt Arthur, near Nelson.
Jewelled geckos (Naultinus gemmeus) are found in forest and scrub habitats in the South Island.
Robust skinks (Cyclodina alani) are found in low coastal forest habitats in the North Island.
Otago skinks (Oligosoma otagense) are found on bluffs and in rock and tussock in Central Otago.
