Preferred social networking site, 2013

This graph shows the social networking sites that New Zealand internet users visited most often, according to the World Internet Project survey in 2013. Twenty per cent of respondents were not members of any social network sites. For those who were, Facebook was by far the most popular site, with 70% of all internet users choosing it as their social networking site of preference. The low figures for YouTube and Twitter are not an indication of the frequency with which New Zealanders access those sites, but simply that they are not the most preferred sites for social networking purposes.
