Child obesity: overweight and obese children in OECD countries

This graph shows the percentage of boys and girls aged 5 to 17 years who were overweight (including obese) in OECD countries in the first decade of the 21st century. New Zealand was eighth-highest out of 28 countries. The OECD average rate was 21.4% for girls and 22.9% for boys. New Zealand was well above these rates, with 28.8% for girls and 28.2% for boys.
