Women's health and wellbeing by ethnicity, 2006–7

The 2006–7 New Zealand health survey asked women how they rated their own health. The higher the score, the better that aspect of health was (a higher score for ‘bodily pain’ for example, means less bodily pain, not more). Apart from physical functioning, Māori women described their health as significantly worse than non-Māori women did.
