The increasing number of beach buggies and four-wheel drives appearing on New Zealand beaches has led local authorities to take steps to restrict the damage they cause. This brochure was put out by the regional council, Environment Bay of Plenty, to explain the severe coastal erosion that follows when motor vehicles crush plants in the sand dunes.
