R. Logan, boatbuilder

R. Logan, boatbuilder

Auckland’s foremost wooden boatbuilders were the Logans – Robert Logan and his sons John, James, Robert, Arch and Willie. Logan built coastal steamers for local shipping lines, but the family really made its mark with their yachts that won many races, and later their finely crafted launches and pleasure cruisers.
