Okareka Dance Company's Nga hau e wha (the four winds) toured in 2012. The production exemplifies the company's focus on making work that is of and from New Zealand. The company described itself as guided by Māori beliefs and based on whānau (family), mana (honour and integrity) and matariki (challenge), while working with dancers and choreographers from around the world.
