Monster mass meeting poster

Monster mass meeting poster

The isolated mining towns of the West Coast were solidly in support of the great strike of 1913, and this poster announces a public meeting and march where they could demonstrate their support. The meeting was organised by ‘Billy Banjo’ (Ted Hunter), a unionist and songwriter who was well known on the Coast.
