The New Zealand Scotsman magazine

The New Zealand Scotsman magazine

From 1912 to 1933, a magazine kept New Zealanders of Scottish descent informed about the activities of Scottish societies, and helped sustain Scottish traditions in New Zealand. The magazine’s cover for April 1927 illustrates the important place ‘Scotland’s poet king’, Robert Burns, had in the lives of Scots in New Zealand.
