Farm model Frigidaire

Farmers’ wives are targeted in this 1945 advertisement for a ‘farm model’ refrigerator with extra capacity. Electrical appliances eased the heavy burden of domestic work on farms. Fridges made it possible to store prepared food for longer, reducing the amount of cooking needed to feed farm workers.
