The living mantle

The New Zealand Society of Soil Science published The living mantle by Les Molloy and Quentin Christie in 1988. It was intended to be an authoritative, illustrated guide to New Zealand soils suitable for the general reader, and has been successful as a university text. A second edition, published in 1998, includes an appendix that describes the New Zealand Soil Classification.
