H. Escott-Inman’s book was an account, told in romantic terms, of the highs and lows of being a castaway. It told the story of the Dundonald survivors on Disappointment Island. My late husband was the Grandson of John Puthz, the youngest of the Crew on the Dundonald ship. My fater in law was Stanley Henry Putze[ obviously the named must have been changed to English} I would like a copy of this book if available. Thank yoy

When I was a boy in Northern Ireland my grandmother had this book which I avidly read a few times. I wish I had it now. Sadly I have searched for it to no avail. It gave me my wanderlust for far-off shores which I fullfilled.
