Multicultural manners

Multicultural manners

This booklet, Meeting our multicultural neighbours, was published in 1994 to give Aucklanders, particularly Pākehā, an insight into the different cultural practices of the many recent immigrants to the city. The cover depicts a girl from a Chinese immigrant family who, after learning English at an Auckland school, translated for her grandfather who spoke little English but enjoyed meeting his new neighbours.
