Following the untimely death of Peter Blake in Brazil, this cartoon by Malcolm Walker was published in an Auckland newspaper, the Sunday News. The red sock at half mast recalls Blake’s greatest triumph in the minds of many New Zealanders: winning the America’s Cup.
