An abstract painting in ochre tones, with a large flat area evoking a river in the foreground and steep banks or trees at the rear.

Avis Higgs exhibited this watercolour and ink painting at the Architectural Centre Gallery in 1966. Many of her artworks focused on the New Zealand landscape and shorelines.
