Urban pollutants such as herbicides, paint residues, dog poo and detergents are often discharged into estuaries and harbours from stormwater drains. This art work from Mt Cook School, Wellington, illustrates the everyday activities that add polluting wastes into stormwater drains, and ultimately into estuarine waters.
