Katikati mural (2 o 2)

Katikati mural

Katikati’s main street is adorned with a series of murals showing the town’s history. This 1991 mural by Peter Cramond is based on a sepia photograph of the street in the late 1930s. Katikati has also made a feature of its pathway of haiku, three-line poems based on a traditional Japanese literary form.
