Ngāti Tama and Ngāti Mutunga pā

This 1840 drawing shows two built by Ngāti Tama and Ngāti Mutunga during a contest for control of land at Waitangi on Rēkohu (Chatham Island). Ngāti Mutunga, whose larger pā is at left, eventually won.
