Agricultural research

Ruakura Research Centre, which opened at Hamilton in 1939, has carried out a wide range of agricultural research, including work on animal nutrition, genetics, pastures and dairying. This 1966 film shows an experiment to pinpoint the optimal time for shearing sheep.
