Coaches: Ruth Aitken

After playing for New Zealand, Ruth Aitken began her coaching career in 1991 with regional teams, including North Harbour, Counties–Manukau Cometz and Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic. She coached the Silver Ferns from 2001 to 2011, guiding them to victories in the world championships and Commonwealth Games (twice). Here, Aitken talks to her players during the world championship semi-final against Jamaica in 2007.
