Coaches: Leigh Gibbs

Coach Leigh Gibbs talks to her team, the Canterbury Flames, during a National Bank Cup game in 2001. A member of the national team for nine years, and captain when they won the world championship in 1987, Gibbs coached the Silver Ferns from 1993 to 1997 and returned as assistant coach from 2001 to 2007. She has also coached school and regional teams.
