Round-the-mountain cycle race

Cyclists race past a typical Taranaki boxthorn hedge in January 2009 while competing in the annual round-the-mountain race. The length of the route varies between 150 and 275 kilometres, but it always completes a circuit of Mt Taranaki. Both individuals and teams can enter.
