Lisa Hurunui

Lisa Hurunui is a role model for the growing number of women and Māori surfers. She has won success on the world professional surfing circuit, being rated 16th in the World Qualifying Series in 2004. Here she is competing in the women’s semi-final of the Hyundai National Surfing Championships, 2006.
