Prince of Wales visiting Government House centre

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall officially opened the Government House Visitor Centre on 14 November 2012. Their Royal Highnesses were visiting New Zealand as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, and are pictured here with former Governor-General Sir Jerry Mataparae and Visitor Centre co-project manager Kay Davies. While in Wellington they attended a Diamond Jubilee welcome ceremony and a birthday party in honour of The Prince of Wales' 64th birthday party. The Prince also met with the Prime Minister, Rt Hon John Key, and the Leader of the Opposition, David Shearer.
