Three New Zealand champions of international motorcycle speedway racing are seen here before the Daily Mirror International Tournament, UK, in 1973. They are Ivan Mauger (seated centre), Ronnie Moore (standing third from left) and Barry Briggs (standing far right). The three men held 12 individual world championship titles between them, plus numerous pair and team titles. They reunited in 2011 for the Burt Munro Challenge in Invercargill, a motorcycle rally and race meeting held annually since 2006.
