Ideas of how a household should be run vary, and as this rather dilapidated house in Sunnyvale, Auckland, shows, not all homeowners have the same interest in home maintenance. Where whole communities are run down, there is little or no conflict over the matter, but in this case neighbours complained. After inspecting the property the local council agreed, and the owner was required to repair his home.
